Anne is a registered travel broker with ITN Travel Group, a
NZ based TAANZ bonded and IATA agency.

Yes, she has had more than 20 years experience as a Travel Consultant both in NZ and the USA but she is also the mother of 2 teenagers and has travelled with them worldwide since they were babies, experiencing everything you possibly could when your travel partners are children!

Anne has travelled the world with her own family
As Anne says..."when I travel with the children it is for pleasure but I
am never totally off duty. I am forever appraising and taking notes on our holiday. My children are also a great help in that they allow me see the experience through their eyes and love to comment on various
airlines, hotels, food and daily activities. I take all this into account
when booking my clients' family holidays".

She’s experienced and passionate about travel
Anne entered the travel industry by chance. After graduating with an
English degree from the University of Auckland, the aspiring actress left for drama school in the UK but instead met her Californian husband and entered the world of American movies and theatre.
Between her roles on set, Van Dyke would book travel and accommodation for the film companies, eventually taking on a number of clients on an individual basis. Soon she had set up business in San Francisco, Silicone Valley and later Washington state, booking both boutique and luxury accommodation in New Zealand and Australia for American clients.

And a high profile industry leader
Over the next decade Van Dyke became one of Air New Zealand and Tourism New Zealand's top agents. But even after 22 years away, the pull of New Zealand was too great. Five years ago she moved home for good.
Since back in NZ she has been selling the World to Kiwis young and
old. You may have come across Anne sharing with her television and radio audience the secrets of smart travel. On TVNZ Breakfast she hosted a travel slot for more than 2 years...or tune into NewstalkZB on Sat mornings when she discusses travel with Mike Hosking.
